Pastoral Greetings 21/11/09

Greetings.

We had a great time today as we kick started the day with a workshop on worship for the youth. We had a registration of around 20 youths who were enthusiastic to learn about the dynamics of worship leading. We ended the workshop at 4.30pm to prepare for the service.

Bernice and the worship team rocked the church with a vibrant worship. It was encouraging to see two generations on stage leading the congregation in worship. This goes to show that it can be done: the older ones encouraging the younger ones and in return the younger ones looking for support and guidance. The Australian team from COC Sydney added the fun and dynamism. We concluded the service with a time of ministry.

It was a tiring day but we felt we accomplished what we set out to do. We broke our attendance record with 53 people at service.

We look forward to see you next week as we install Kevin & Lillian Jesudasan as pastors of MSC.
