Pastoral Greetings 02/01/10

Dear all:

Blessed New Year 2010. I trust that you are well and experiencing the goodness of God. It was one hectic time during the Christmas season. As a fellowship, we experienced our first Christmas last year. We wanted to connect with friends and to celebrate the event by having a party. Hence, we organized our poolside party where we had an attendance of more than 100. The guests outnumbered our members. We had a fun time and everyone left happy.

Our first Christmas service was on 26 Dec 2009 - our normal and last Saturday service. From January 3, 2010, we have moved our service to Sunday. After existing as a congregation for a few months, we feel that more can be accomplished if we meet on Sunday instead of Saturday. We have mapped our direction and we are ready to move forward with our plans to mature/strengthen the church, raise leaders, reach out etc.

We are going through a re-orientation by understanding the organic church. We are moving into some exciting times as we grow the church. We also look forward to our first church camp in May 2010. We do not wish to set resolutions for 2010. Instead, we press on for the prize.....as always.
