Pastoral Greetings 11/8/09

Dear all:

It was refreshing to see so many visitors at MSC yesterday. We must keep up this momentum to bring new people into our fellowship. We are grateful to Kevin and Lillian for providing food for us so that we can all hang out after service. I am pleased to announce that Kevin and Lillian have applied for licence with the Four Square Gospel Church. This is a denomination headed by one of the most respected Christian leaders in USA , Dr Jack Hayford. Through the years, Kevin and Lillian have led teams to minister in children camps, spoken at churches, worked among the youths etc. I told them it would be good to be licenced to enable them to have a better and wider platform to minister. We congratulate them.

We are preparing for the Youth Worship Workshop to be held on 21 November (Sat) I trust that you will invite some youths to participate. We have an exciting line-up of activities. Our youths are raring to go. It will be an exciting time. If you need further information, please see Kevin.

We are all heading for the Memorial Service for Lillian's mother, Madam Chew at the World Harvest Church in Subang Jaya this afternoon. It will be a great time to pay tribute to a life that has touched so many lives. This is what we mean by leaving behind a legacy. I travelled with the Jesudasans as they went about inviting their relatives. I could see the warm reception even though these relatives were non-Christians. We must be like Madam Chew, be a giver and impact lives regardless.
