Pastoral Greetings 24/10/09

Dear all:

We had a great time at service. The worship was declarative and prophetic. There was an increase in the people coming and a certain dynamism had started. We also saw a closer fellowship with our members relating more with one another. The children had a fun time learning. Eunice gave them a dance lesson.

After the service, some youths had a meeting with Pastor Nick and Pastor Julian at McDs in SS2. We shared about the vision and direction of MSC. It was encouraging to see the receptivity of these youths. Watch out...the Joshua Generation is in the making!

One common question that was asked: " Why the name Mustard Seed Company? "
1. Faith - we want to see all our members having and living with the little faith that will move mountains for us.
2. Kingdom - the seed is likened to the kingdom; it will grow from small to become big. We see ourselves as 'that tree' that will bless others.
3. Company? We are a company of believers. Bernice added ' company means that we are partners together in this enterprise '.

We have missed some of you who have not been around for the past few weeks. We trust that everything is well with you. We hope to see you soon.

We are grateful for the emergence of our leaders: Kevin & Lillian and Eugene & Adeline. They have been a great source of stability and assistance for this pioneering stage of MSC. We are in a better position to plan ahead for the development and growth of MSC. We had a wonderful time fellowshipping and praying at the Jesudasans' house last week...not forgetting eating.

We believe that God has connected us together to fulfill our purposes and destinies in Him. We are partners together to build His church....we are excited! Chris Ooi will be back with us this Saturday after a few weeks for work in USA.
