Pastoral greetings 30/08/09

Dear all:

As we approach the national day, we are reminded about the launch of 1 Malaysia. Our country is trying to unite the citizens together regardless of race or religion. This is commendable.

I believe the leaders of our nation understand that with unity, we will be able to accomplish more and to see our aspirations achieved. This is the same with the church. The Lord has prayed for unity in John 17...'that they may be one'.

We trust that this merdeka celebration will send us a gentle reminder that we (MSC) need to join our hearts and hands together to see our vision accomplished. Father make us one!

By the way for those who have yet to see or purchase our MSC T Shirts, we are pleased to announce that we have them for sale. Recently I wore the t shirt and someone asked me if my company sold mustard seeds. He further asked what was a mustard seed. It started a conversation going and I was able to draw his attention to the bible. What a way to start a conversation and to draw an interest.

Check out the t shirt at the counter. It was a strange situation at our fellowship today. The speaker spoke on fasting. At the end of the service, we had a feast! We even celebrated Pas Julian's birthday ....we had a fabulous fish curry dish. Help! Have a restful Monday (since it is holiday) and have another great week.
